The 25th Hour (2002)

I had good expectations for this movie because it had a great cast including Edward Norton, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Rosario Dawson. Also, this movie is based off of the book written by David Benioff, who now is a writer for one of the best shows on television: Game of Thrones.

Needless to say that this movie did not live up to my high expectations. It had a lot of dialogue in the movie and not a lot happened. The premise of the movie was good, probably because the acting was great, but it was kind of boring. This movie was over 2 hours long, when it could have been a 15 minute short. A lot of the effects were very pretty though, enhancing the quality of the movie.

Grisham – 4.5/10

Sam – 7/10
